Since Ofcom’s announcement to allow the changes to Radio Ceredigion’s licence in order to broadcast Nation Radio on the FM frequency, there has been concern for the future of local radio in Ceredigion.
Radio Aber would like to assure the listeners that the service we intend to supply will give a relevant and local choice for everyone in the community, with an even provision of Welsh and English programming.
You can read BBC Cymru Fyw about Radio Aber below (Welsh Only).
Sam Thomas spoke to BBC Radio Cymru’s programme ‘Taro’r Post’ on Thursday about the future of local broadcasting in the area (37 minutes into the programme – Welsh Only).
Tom Cartwright was also part of Newyddion 9’s story about Ofcom’s announcement to allow the change to Radio Ceredigion’s licence.
